This 1890 elegant home just beckons you to come in and cozy up! We have finished our Market St project and are very proud of the work. The modern home features large light filled rooms with tall ceilings, a gorgeous chef’s kitchen, exposed brick and restored original trim and built-ins. A massive 3742 SQFT with potential for 700 SQFT upstairs! It is very satisfying to renovate with things like new real hardwood floors, knowing that we are creating a beautiful and high quality product is why we love what we do so much :D
The exterior of our Berkeley project has been getting some attention these past few weeks. From a brand new deck complete with steel posts and cables to a custom built walkway from the downstairs patio through the trees down to the backyard below.
We are thrilled to have Ashleigh Laub join our team!! Her project management and design experience will surely add to our company’s mission in building high quality projects with an emphasis on excellent design.
As our Project and Design Assistant, Ashleigh brings years of design and construction experience to our team. With a degree in Construction Management from Colorado State University, she spent 7 years with an ENR Top 100 Contractor in Los Angeles working on a wide range or projects, including the California Science Center, a concrete mansion for a private client in Malibu and thousands of units at the University of California, Irvine. Prior to joining Artemis, Ashleigh has been completing house flips with a focus on the design to create exceptional returns on investment. Her organizational skills paired with her construction experience, her keen eye for design, and her ability to pull it all together make her a key part of our team.
Excited for all the gorgeous concrete poured in our Berkeley Hills home. High end concrete stamps and master formwork = <3

We were very excited to hear from the Hillsborough Architecture & Design Review Board (ADRB) today that our preliminary plans for the Hillsborough property were approved to move to a formal design review. The Town of Hillsborough Planning Department have been very nice to work with in getting these plans together.
We are working with LSH Architects and Spiegel Aihara Workshop to transform an existing 1957 Ranch home on a tricky slope. Our plan is to construct an upper level addition to the home that fits within the town’s 32’ height limit envelope. We have to model the height limit restriction envelope as it follows the slope to ensure the massing of the upper level addition does not break the plane.
The ADRB responded positively to the preliminary design which has a modern ranch feel with sloped roofs and a massing the flows with the slope of the site. Now we have much work to do to get this design fully fleshed out and luckily we have two amazing design firms collaborating to make it happen :)
Berkeley has a wide variety of home styles and we are very excited about this 1935 Cottage Home in the Berkeley Hills. We will be doing a full gut renovation to modernize the interior while keeping with the original charm. It’s not often we get a home with so much original charm, this will be a really fun project!
The hillside home has a wonderful view of the Golden Gate Bridge and San Francisco. We will be capturing this view with a back wall of glass french doors and picture windows opening up to an ample redwood deck. Truly it will be a stunning experience from within the home!
Situated next to Cragmont park, this home is in an excellent location walking distance to the Berkeley Rose Garden and Gourmet Ghetto. Stay tuned for more…

Introducing our 5% LISTING PROGRAM for Realtors! Have you ever sold a fixer to an investor only to lose the listing later when it is remodeled? If so, we bet you were frustrated watching your hard earned work in finding and securing the property turn into money for another Realtor who listed it down the line. Why should they get the listing when you found the property?
Say no more! We believe that if you find us a property to rehab you also deserve the listing after we are done. Our program offers you the listing at 5%.
Our motto: You found the property, you deserve the listing. Period. Realtors love working with us because they can build up a pipeline of beautifully rehabbed listings. We love it because it brings us acquisitions of course and it is a win-win for all parties.
Everyone knows investors are flooding the market right now making it increasingly difficult to purchase rehab fixers. If you had a fixer we bet you could call a long list of investors you know to buy the property. Why not call us and have confidence we will give you the listing back at 5%? Don't lose that potential income by selling to an investor who has other listing agents in mind.
